Sometimes things are so nice, you have to do them twice. That\u2019s exactly how we felt after our joyful \u201cSummer of YES<\/a>\u201d event in Austin earlier this year\u2014so we teamed up with our friends at GoodPop<\/a> once again, this time bringing the fun to the West Coast with a sunny Los Angeles edition.<\/p>\n

Co-hosted by MOTHER and GoodPop<\/a>, the L.A. stop of our \u201cSummer of YES\u201d series took place at the cheerful and color-filled Club Joyful<\/a> in Venice, where an inspiring group of families gathered for a day designed around one simple idea: what happens when parents say “yes” a little more?<\/p>\n

From popsicles for breakfast (thank you, GoodPop<\/a>!) to mud-pie making with HAWKs<\/a>\u2014every detail was curated to spark joy for kids and ease for parents. Guests were greeted with a \u201cYES Passport\u201d and invited to explore a lineup of feel-good activities\u2014including face and body art by OOLY<\/a>, color-changing bandages from Welly<\/a>, fancy beads and body gems by Super Smalls<\/a>, and a variety of nature crafts led by the wonderful team at HAWKs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Families also captured sweet memories with portraits by The Pod Photography<\/a>, donned popsicle-themed pieces by Mon Coeur<\/a>, and noshed on a waffle bar by Evergreen<\/a>, a hummus-centric spread by Little Sesame<\/a>, yummy s\u2019mores by Sunnie<\/a>, festive coffee drinks for parents\u2014and kids\u2014by Club Joyful<\/a>, and sparkling beverages from Juni<\/a>.<\/p>\n
