Whether parents actually named their children these monikers in 2024\u2014or 2025\u2014is another matter (be on the lookout for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mothermag.com\/most-popular-baby-names-of-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social Security Administration\u2019s list<\/a> in May 2025 for the official tally).<\/p>\n<p>The following 200 names are those that new and expecting parents are placing on their &#8220;favorites&#8221; list\u2014and we believe it serves as a sneak peek into the baby name trends 2025 will carry forth. This year\u2019s Top 10 list had a number of traditional names\u2014<strong>Charlotte<\/strong> and <strong>Amelia<\/strong> for girls, and <strong>Theodore<\/strong>, <strong>Oliver<\/strong>, <strong>Henry<\/strong>, and <strong>James<\/strong> for boys\u2014that are also within the current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mothermag.com\/most-popular-baby-names-of-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Top Baby Names in the USA<\/a>, showing that the overall &#8220;classic&#8221; name trend is still going strong.<\/p>\n<p>Other &#8220;evergreen classics,&#8221; &#8220;biblical,&#8221; &#8220;traveling lite,&#8221; and &#8220;fresh nature names&#8221; noted within the Top 200 this year include <strong>Lucy<\/strong>, <strong>Luna<\/strong>, <strong>Nora<\/strong>, <strong>Willow<\/strong>, and <strong>Ivy<\/strong> for girls and <strong>William<\/strong>, <strong>Silas<\/strong>, <strong>Ezra<\/strong>, <strong>Kai<\/strong>, <strong>Leo<\/strong>, and <strong>Rowan<\/strong> for boys.<\/p>\n<p>More <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mothermag.com\/baby-names-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">obscure monikers<\/a> beloved by the Nameberry audience include <strong>Daphne<\/strong>, <strong>Arden<\/strong>, <strong>Beatrix<\/strong>, <strong>Wren<\/strong>, <strong>Cordelia<\/strong>, <strong>Elowen<\/strong>, <strong>Imogen<\/strong>, <strong>Elodie<\/strong>, <strong>Aurelia<\/strong>, <strong>Clementine<\/strong>, <strong>Evangeline<\/strong>, <strong>Mabel<\/strong>, <strong>Jane<\/strong>, <strong>Sage<\/strong>, and <strong>Juniper<\/strong> for girls.
